If you're a woman from any cultural background experiencing domestic or family violence or questioning your current relationship, reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. You might be facing language barriers, cultural expectations, visa concerns or uncertainty about your rights.
At the Love and Hope Hub, multiple service providers come together in one place each session, so you can access personal and family safety support, legal advice, housing and emergency accommodation guidance, financial assistance, employment support, and help with Centrelink - all without navigating each system separately.
Support is tailored to your situation and can include safety planning, legal information and referrals, financial help for migrants, employment and training pathways, housing guidance, and connections to other community services. Free WiFi is available on-site, along with translated materials and information sessions created specifically for culturally diverse women.
At the Hub, you'll meet experienced professionals committed to your wellbeing. Support is provided by Stepwise in partnership with Legal Aid, Services Australia and police liaison officers, so you receive coordinated care without needing to repeat your story.
We also work alongside TAFE and Carer Gateway to connect you with further education, employment and support opportunities. Many of our team members bring lived experience and multicultural understanding to their work, helping create an environment where women feel genuinely understood.
Women who attend the Love and Hope Hub often share that they leave feeling safer and more hopeful about the future. Support focuses on helping you understand your options and decide what's right for you, at your own pace. If you also need broader support as a migrant or refugee, we can connect you with our Settlement Services for help with employment, English support, community connection and everyday systems.
